Members of the Yew Tee Recycling team had gathered at School of Design and Environment (SDE) LT 422 to attend the Yew Tee Recycling Feedback Dialogue Session. The event was chaired by Dr Peck Thian Guan, whom he gave an overview about the programme and explained why SAVE is different from other CCAs in terms of not only gaining knowledge on climate change issues, but also the soft skills learnt.
The main committee of Yew Tee Recycling Programme Survey had also presented on the progress; rated the success level of the survey and highlighted future changes on the survey forms. We are proud to say that there is an overall increase in recycling rate in Yew Tee Residential Committees (RCs) 4 and 8 since the survey had started. A two-way feedback session, whereby members got a chance to voice out their opinions about the survey was also conducted. Finally, Mr Marcus Tay from the Office of Environmental Sustainability (OES) wrapped the session up.
We hope that everyone who had come down for that session will benefit from it, and hope that they will continue to support Yew Tee Recycling Programme. The next household survey will be scheduled on the Saturdays of 26 Feb and 1 Apr 2011.
