National Environment Agency (NEA)
The National Environment Agency (NEA) is the leading public organization responsible for improving and sustaining a clean and green environment in Singapore. NEA develops and spearheads environmental initiatives and programmes through its partnership with the People, Public and Private sectors. It is committed to motivating every individual to take up environmental ownership and to care for the environment as a way of life.
NEA 3P Partnership Fund has been supporting Green Carnival, an event recognized under Clean and Green (C&G) Singapore, since 2007.
The 3P Partnership Fund is a grant program administered by NEA with the aim of encouraging and assisting organisations, companies and individuals from the People, Private and Public (3P) sectors to work together to develop innovative and sustainable environmental initiatives that promote environmental ownership amongst the local community.
Southwest Community Development Council (SWCDC)
South West CDC bonds the community through its functional committees. Projects and programmes are themed according to the arts, youth, environment and community safety and security, elderly and more. The South West CDC also provides services to help the community such as job-matching and the administration of social assistance schemes.
South West CDC has been supporting SAVE’s environmental efforts as NUS lies in their district, but more so because they are stalwarts of environmentalism too, as could be testament to them winning the Green Office Label Certification for the last 3 years.
City Developments Limited (CDL)
CDL is a listed international property and hotel conglomerate involved in real estate development and investment, hotel ownership and management, facilities management, as well as the provision of hospitality solutions. At CDL, they view their role as more than just a builder of living spaces, but also a developer of lives and communities, thus their tagline: Conserving the Environment, Caring for the Community. CDL has been a staunch supporter of green initiatives as the problem of climate change becomes more dire globally. They continue to be actively involved in the development and collaboration of extensive green programmes targeted at different stakeholders. In 2003, CDL established their corporate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Policy, which reflects their firm commitment towards a “Safe and Green” culture.
CDL has been supporting SAVE and its projects since 2008 with the launch of Green Carnival every academic year.
