The Deck is the first foodcourt to be awarded the eco-foodcourt certification in Singapore! NUS students played an important role in helping to achieve this– through their work in the Rebate2Earth plastic bag tax and Food4Thought recommendations of vegetables-based meals at every stall. In particular, the plastic bag tax managed to reduce 90% of plastic bag consumption in the canteen. Keep up the good work everyone!
