Save3s aims to minimize the excessive and often unnecessary usage of papers on NUS campus. On the 31st of March 2008, we have successfully set computers in all libraries and major computer labs (C J Koh Law Library, Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library, Medical/Science Library, Music Library, Central Library, Arts and Social Science faculty AS7 Computer Cluster, Science faculty S10 Computer Cluster, Bukit Timah Campus Computer Cluster, Yusof Ishak House Computer Cluster) to default double-sided printing.
Showing strong support and endorsement for the initiative, the Office of Provost, represented by Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education, Professor Alan Chan, has approved the submission of all reports, assignments and theses for both Undergraduate and Graduate studies, on either double-sided print or through electronic submission.
